Alterdot v.1.8.0 released
Upgrading to Alterdot v1.8.0 is mandatory, there are about 7 days left before the next hard fork. This version restarts Masternodes, InstantSend, Development Fund payments and the Blockchain Domain Name System, old Bitcreds versions do not re-activate them. Alterdot v1.8.0 is one of the main updates in this transition to a better, safer codebase. Masternode owners should upgrade right away, extended instructions will be coming for setup. This is a period of rapid change.

If there are any pool owners that want to get started with Alterdot we are glad to help. A higher total hashrate makes for a healthier network.
Keep an eye out for more information soon!
The next version of Bitcreds, v1.7.3 is now available for download. This is a mandatory update for all nodes as it is the first stage of our transition to an upgraded codebase from Dash and the starting point of all future things which will be built on top of our blockchain and network.
The Bitcreds network will be reduced to lite mode or core mode after block 1,034,000 through a hard fork in order to start the transition. The Development Fund and Masternodes will not be paid in the reduced state of the network, InstantSend, Mixing and PrivateSend will not…
Builds for the external miner have just been released and they can be downloaded from https://github.com/Bitcreds/cpuminer-opt-kudaraidee/releases/tag/v1.0.0
This miner will allow you to start pool mining right away on https://poolmine.xyz/
Please note that mining on Linux will offer better hashrates for most processors. Also Ryzen CPUs mining on Windows with the AVX2 optimization will most probably get no advantage over non-AVX2, but this only affects Windows. On Linux everything works as expected with increases of up to 30% in hashrates for the AVX2 versions.
We’ve update the v1.7.1 release for Bitcreds to resolve a reporting issue for mining hashrates. No other changes have been made.

Bitcreds will be undergoing some updates and improvements, both visually as well as functionally. Bitcreds will soon offer as a service the possibility to register IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) content on our Blockchain Domain Name System (BDNS). This process will imply burning of coins and higher rewards for miners.
The reccent change of our mining algorithm to Argon2d16000 allows an advantage for CPU mining.
The BDNS is our main focus for the next pahse of development. In the next next big release (v1.8), we will include the BDNS along with our browser extension. …
